Quill of Hope is Going on a Hiatus + My Author Headquarters is Up!

I mentioned in my last email that I've been really struggling with balancing a lot of things in my life.

And confession: Quill of Hope is one of them.

Not that I don't love writing fun, engaging content for you guys! It's just that when all the rest of the commitments and responsibilities of life come in, I get bloggers' block—aka the inability to write quality content.

I want to be pushing myself to do hard things, not only for this blog, but in life. And just writing blog posts for the sake of having them is not what I want.

And right now, I'm also working on rebuilding my platform strategy. Which involves figuring out some decisions—about Quill of Hope, about my mailing list, about how I'm using my platform(s).

So! In all of this, I'm going to be doing a lot of thinking (though how much thinking I actually will be able to do is still up in the air right now 😅).

How long can you expect until I'm back? Possible 2-4 weeks, at the very least. But even then, I'll probably be developing a new content strategy and writing blog posts around that time, I just won't be posting them until I'm back.

Buuuttt ... I do want to say that I'm pretty sure I'll be optimizing my mailing list a whole lot more. My mailing list has always been the star of the show, honestly, and I want it to shine even brighter. So right now's the perfect time to sign up, if you haven't already! You'll be able to keep up with all my shenanigans and weird jokes there.

I'm super excited to see where these changes lead me, but my hope is that the way I develop my platform now will help aid me in the long run.

I officially launched my author headquarters!

Yes, that's right. My home website is officially up and running! It's different from this website in a way that it's not just my blog—but basically, a simple place where you can find all things ... well, me. 😅

Here's a little snippet!

I'm still changing some things because the design perfectionist in me won't shut up, but that's what it looks like for now!

So if you haven't already, I'd definitely appreciate it if you could take a look, bookmark the page, spread the word, and subscribe! Seriously. You guys are awesome.

And ... that's all I've got for today. Thank you so much for reading and supporting me along the journey. I know all these changes definitely aren't easy, but it's all a learning process—just learning to put one foot in front of the other. Plus, failure is never trying, right? 😉
